Adding Value

The Staffing Connection has learned the importance of adding value for both the employer and the employee and is proving their temporary employment systems and strategies truly make a difference.

The Staffing Connection began to explore the service delivery gaps that seemed endemic to the industry. The TSC findings revealed an employment services industry that was coasting along on a services "demand" balloon which allowed them to focus on their bottom line at the expense of the client and the employee. The impact of this cavalier behavior has been to compromise the integrity of the temporary employment industry with both employers and employees.

Furthermore the "temporary" job and the person performing it was seen as a "hole" filler who was not equal to the rest of the team, obviously affecting productivity and performance. It was also clear that the "value added" a temporary employment company could bring to the table for the benefit of the employer and the employee simply was not showing up!

TSC has helped move the temporary employment services industry out of the dark ages and are recognized as industry leaders that not only add value to the employer and the employee, but are also helping define and shape the future of this growing and essential industry.

The Importance of Community

The Staffing Connection has identified several markets that this indifference existed and also looked at business communities who recognized the importance of community and the need for excellence in people, productivity, production, and profitability.

TSC also believes in the importance of investing into the communities they are involved in. The dynamic partnership with LIFT is a powerful example of how TSC builds into the lives of those who are unemployed or underemployed. The LIFT program begins to equip men and women with new opportunity and confidence and as often as possible they are subsequently welcomed into the workforce through The Staffing Connection.

The Staffing Connection also invests into their community by investing into the organizations that comprehensively add value to the quality of life of a particular community. The United Way is clearly one of those "value adding" organizations and TSC invests in them directly and also encourages individual support by matching contributions corporately. TSC also seeks out partnerships with local businesses to further compound this investment.
