Description
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Heavy Equipment Operator for a new full-time opportunity in the Collingwood area.
The Heavy Equipment Operator will work outdoors on construction sites, closely with other equipment operators and with ground crew, operating heavy equipment.
The ideal candidate has extensive operating experience and a Heavy Equipment Operators license would be a definite asset.
Heavy Equipment Operator Skills:
- Hands-on experience operating heavy equipment such as backhoes and excavators
- Heavy Equipment Operators license an asset
- Knowledge of equipment maintenance and storage
- Must be able to work with little supervision; must be self-directed
- Ability to work independently in a busy environment
Heavy Equipment Operator Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
- CSA approved safety footwear
- Daily access to reliable transportation
- Lives in or can commute to Collingwood
